Coaching app, iOS and Android

ProFlow Physiques

A second app under the same brand, built for one to one coaching rather than a group programme.

The iOS version is with Apple and not public yet. We don't claim it as live until it is.

What they were dealing with

The first ProFlow app worked, so they came back for a second, this time for a different business entirely: one to one physique coaching, where every client has their own plan and the coach needs to see progress week by week.

What we did about it

Rather than bending the first app to fit a business it was not designed for, we built a separate product: separate stores, separate data, separate audience.

Training, nutrition, supplements, cardio and body metrics live in one place, with numbers that cannot contradict each other, and plan templates so the same block is not rebuilt from scratch for every client.

Weekly photo and video check-ins go straight to the coach, including from a phone with one bar of signal in a car park, which is where they are actually recorded. Video gets captions without paying per minute, and the coach can reply with a voice note attached to the exact exercise it is about.

Everything we built into it

  • Booking you without leaving your own app

Customers book time with the business from inside its own app, against real availability, with no third-party booking page.

  • Grouping customers the way you actually think about them

Customers can be organised into groups and divisions that match how the business really works, and everything else follows those groups.

  • A spoken note attached to the exact thing it is about

A short voice note recorded and attached to a specific item, so the explanation sits on the thing rather than in a separate message.

  • Messaging one group without messaging everybody

Broadcasts sent to a defined segment of customers rather than the whole list, delivered as a push notification to the phone.

  • Video that actually uploads from a phone in a car park

Video is captured through the phone's own camera and compressed on the device before upload, so a large clip goes up over a normal mobile connection.

  • Captions on your videos, without paying per minute

Uploaded videos carry captions, so they can be watched with the sound off and by people who need them.

  • Templates so the same plan is not rebuilt every time

Reusable templates for the things a business gives every customer, assembled once and applied rather than rebuilt each time.

  • Numbers that cannot contradict each other

Totals are calculated from their parts in one place and never stored separately, so two figures on the same screen can never disagree.

  • A community people can report something in

Members can report content, and reports arrive in a moderation queue for the business to act on.

  • An app that feels native, down to the buzz

Real haptic feedback on the actions that matter, loaded only on a phone so the web version never carries the weight.
