Before we talk

See the work. Understand the process. Decide if a call is worth it.

Tom walks through what Ownly builds, real work you can open and the questions worth settling before you give us half an hour. No email needed.

The decision briefing

The complete briefing will play here.

The recording is being prepared. Everything it covers is available below in the meantime.

  2. 02Work you can inspectReal client sites, live apps and the decisions behind them.
  3. 03Cost, timing and fitWhat can be answered now, what needs scoping and when we would say not to build.
  4. 04What happens nextThe first conversation, the written scope and how a project moves forward.

Already know enough? The call is 30 minutes with the person who would scope and build the work.

Straight answers

The questions worth settling before a call.

What will it cost?

Websites are agreed at a fixed price. Apps and business systems are scoped on a call because the rules, users and integrations change the job. Every project gets a written scope and a fixed build price before anyone writes code.

What if an off-the-shelf tool already does it?

Then we will tell you to buy it. Custom software earns its place when the way your business works is important, or when separate tools leave your team carrying the gaps by hand.

Do I need to know exactly what I want?

No. Bring the part of the business that is slow, fragile or getting in the way. Working out the right shape of the solution is part of the job.

How long will it take?

That depends on the scope. You get a realistic timeline in writing before the build begins, see working software during the project and hear early if anything changes.

What happens after launch?

We can keep the software hosted, monitored, updated and supported after launch. The arrangement is agreed separately and plainly before work starts, so there is no surprise commitment later.

The next step

If there is something here worth solving, give us 30 minutes.

Answer six quick questions, choose a time, and Tom will look at the business before the call so the conversation starts with the problem.
